Our Approach to Raising Puppies
We raise a limited number of Bergamasco litters so that each puppy can receive the time, handling, and attention they deserve. Puppies are born and raised in our home, where they are exposed to the normal rhythm of family life and gently introduced to new sights, sounds, and experiences as they grow.
Because we are intentional about planning each litter, there will be times when we do not have puppies available or pending. Even during those quiet periods, we welcome conversations with families who are interested in the breed and want to prepare for a future Bergamasco companion.
Puppies & Litters Pages
Current Litters
Visit our Current Litters page to see whether we currently have puppies on the ground. When we do, you’ll find information about the parents, number of puppies, general temperament notes, and expected go-home dates.
Upcoming Litters
Our Upcoming Litters page explains how we plan future breedings and notes whether any litters are currently pending. We share general timing and parent pairings when they are confirmed, but we avoid making promises until we are confident in the plans.
Puppy Placement Process
To understand how we match puppies with homes, read about our Puppy Process. We focus on thoughtful, temperament-based placements rather than a simple first-come list, and we value open communication throughout the process.
Is the Bergamasco the Right Breed for You?
Before joining a waiting list or applying for a puppy, we encourage families to spend time learning about the breed’s history, temperament, coat care, and exercise needs. The Bergamasco Sheepdog is a devoted, thoughtful companion, but their flocked coat and working heritage mean they are not the right match for every household.

A Long-Term Partnership
We view each puppy placement as the beginning of a long-term partnership. We remain available to our puppy families for questions, updates, and support throughout their dog’s life and are grateful when families stay in touch.
